It is absolutely amazing the progress I have seen with Dalton and Yumi in just two weeks. The first night Yumi came home with us Dalton would gag or vomit if she touched him. This reaction is caused by his sensory integrated dysfunction. The next day while we were at walmart, Yumi and Dalton were both tired from walking so I had to put them both in the buggy. I just knew that Dalton was going to vomit all over the place from Yumi touching him. Dalton's first response was pushing Yumi away, and his second response was gagging. Yumi kept advancing her head toward Dalton in a very gentle manner and within minutes Dalton allowed Yumi to lay her head in his lap without Dalton having a gag reflex. What a great first trip to the store together.
